Hello readers! I know it's been a long time since you last heard from me. The Holidays were crazy and after the Honeymoon I had to work on changing my last name and getting a joined bank account with my new hubby. I'm no longer Justine Serratore. I am now officially Mrs. Justine Veisz. I'm no longer That Girl Justine. I'm now That Wife Justine. Kevin and I have now been married for three months and thirteen days so far. I'm loving married life. I used to think everything would be pretty much the same as before, but it's really not. It's better! It's so much better to share his last name, to look down at your left hand and see two beautiful rings sparkle in the light, to share a bank account and have checks with both your names on them. It really makes a difference. Getting married was a huge step for both of us. It was something that I had been looking forward to since I was a little girl. I'm very happy that it went so well and that we had such a nice day and that we got to go to beautiful Mexico together but now that it's all over what's next? Kevin and I have big plans for our future. It's a new year and time for new changes. We have already been pre-approved to buy a house. We just have to find the right one. We have been house hunting on the weekends to find our new home. We are hoping to move in no later than June or July. After we get settled in our house the next step is to try to start our family. But one step at a time. The holidays were great! I spend Thanksgiving at my moms house because Kevin had to work so I made him pies to take in so he and his co-workers could have their own little Thanksgiving dinner. I enjoyed spending time with my family and seeing my nephew and nieces. Before I knew it it was December. Kevin, my mom and I all went to the Holiday Chocolate Walk in Bordentown which is just like the Valentine's Day chocolate walk only Christmas themed. I spend most of December baking cookies, buying Christmas presents, wrapping gifts and getting gifts ready for the parents in my classroom. I also had a special elf visitor in my classroom this year. His name was Ernie. New Years Eve was spent at home cuddling on the couch and watching TV. I made Champagne Cookies but other than that it was pretty uneventful. We took my niece Lena ice skating for the first time which she loved! Kevin's friend and co-worker got married in the beginning of January. The wedding was at the Lambertville Inn. We got a room and stayed over night to celebrate with them. we got the rest of our wedding pictures back from the photographer. Here are a few of my personal favorites.... I hope everyone has a great weekend and a happy Valentines Day!:)
