Good morning readers! I know I'm two weeks behind on my favorites. This is the first time I've ever been this far behind. I've been so busy with christmas stuff plus all this extra work I had to do at my job and I just fell behind but don't worry because I'm here now to talk about the last two weeks.:) So first of all my friend Kelly came back from school and we went out for all you can eat sushi.:) it was so nice to see her again and catch up. For the art project/christmas gift for the parents in my room the kids and I made these really cute and easy orniments using flour, salt and water. I turned their foot prints into little snowmen. I also made these little reindeer cards also using their footprints.:) They turned out really good. At work we all got secret Santa's which was fun. My secret Santa got me a few really cute things that I love. This is one of the gifts my secret Santa got for me. So that was the first week now on to last week: Last Saturday I got peek a boo purple highlights in my hair. I love them! I love them! I love them! I've been wanting to do this for a very long time but I was always afraid that I wouldn't like the way in came out. I'm so glad I finally did because as my hair dresser pointed out if you don't like a color you can always dye it again. Kevin and I had Christmas Eve at my moms house. It was very nice. We exchanged gifts, ate dinner and I read 'twas the night before christmas to my two nieces. When Kevin and I got home we exchanged our gifts. These are all the gifts I got for him. He got me leggings, a sweatshirt, a pink kit from Victoria's Secret, make up from sephora, tank tops, a ton of lip balms and a fifty dollar gift card to go shopping with!:) We spend Christmas Day with Kevin's family. I had a great time. We watched some old home videos, ate a nice dinner and exchanged gifts with our secret Santa's. Kevin's grandma had me and Kevin and she gave us a gift card to Cracker Barrel and this great picture with our names on it!!:) I love it!!!:) That's all for these last two weeks. I'll see you guys next week! Hope everyone had a great holiday!!:)

Welcome to another Friday favorites!:) This last week has gone by fast. I'm very proud of myself because I made it through my first week in a leadership position and I did I pretty good job. I had a few curve balls thrown at me but I worked through them and got done everything I needed to get done. Now let's get to our favorites: Last Saturday Kevin and I decorated the tree, and hung up our stockings and christmas lights. Our house is now all ready for Christmas.:) I saw this on Facebook and thought it was cute so I had to share it. My poor Daiser passed away this past week. She was old and in a lot of pain. She was almost 13 years old. She was a very sweet dog and I will miss her very much. This is an old picture of the two of us.:) I tried out this new crispy pheasant recipe and it turned out really good. Very few ingredients too. We are doing secret Santa's at work this year. This is the first and only time I've ever forgotten to write a Friday favorites post. I didn't even think about it until this morning when I was driving to work. I don't know why but I've been forgetting things lately and I never forget to do things usually. I'm actually pretty good at remembering stuff. Anyways lets talk about the favorites. Last Saturday was my sister's birthday so I babysat for her so she could go out and enjoy her day. I made home made play dough for my neice and played with my nephew. It was nice to see them.:) I had off all last week so on Tuesday I spend the day with my mom. We went to Whole Food so she could get her turkey and veggies for Thanksgiving. We also did some Christmas shopping and got lunch at this Chinese place. I love Chinese food!:) My mom was so nice she even treated me to get my nails done for the holiday.:) On Wednesday I made sweet and sour pheasant out of the four pheasants we had in our freezer. It turned out really good.:) Thursday was Thanksgiving. This year we went to my dads house. Everything was really good. That's all for now. Have a great week everyone!!! Xoxo:) |
