Hey there my awesome readers! Well I did write a blog over the weekend and it just completely disappeared. I was kind of hoping it would show up so I wouldn't have to re-write what I already wrote again but I guess I'm not that lucky this time. Anyways lets talk about last week. Last Saturday I went hunting with Kevin and his father. It was fun. Kevin got a pheasant and we got to take it home for dinner.:) After our hunting adventures in the woods we went out to Chilis for dinner.:) I was practicing making christmas orinemints with salt, flour and water and I made this really cute one using mine and Kevin's thumbprints. I made pheasant for the first time using this orange sauce pheasant recipe and its not bad.:) It taste a lot like chicken.:) I made a really cute birthday board in my classroom of hot chocolate and marshmellows.:) We had pajama day this past week at work so I was goofing around in the morning and took a mirror selfie.:) We made this adorable art project with the kids for thanksgiving with their handprints. I hope you guys all have a great thanksgiving!!!!:)

Hello there readers!!! I'm super excited and happy this morning because I'm spending the day with my boyfriend. He's going to take me hunting later and I can't wait! Even though I hate the cold weather I still enjoy this time of the year. I can't wait for Thanksgiving and I can't wait for Christmas! This week has been pretty good. I can't complain so let's get to the favorites. Last Sunday was my neices birthday party. She is now five years old. I remember the day she was born. I can't believe how fast time seems to go. It was a really nice, Frozen party. She really loved it.:) and I love being with my family. I'm really loving American Horror Story Freak Show. I never miss an episode. Well I don't watch it on Wednesday night because it comes on too late. So Kevin and I watch it on demand on Friday night after we go grocery shopping. I made this yummy tater tot chicken casserole. It came out pretty good. I found this on Facebook and thought it was cute:) Have a great weekend everyone!!! Hey there my wonderful readers!! What a crazy week I had. There were good times, there were hard times. I got some interesting news at work. I'm being promoted to a higher position which I've wanted for a very long time and now that I'm finished working on my CDA and passed the test I'm finally able to be in charge of a room. In excited but I'm also kind of nervous. I know I can do a great job but it is going to be a lot more work. This week was a tough one. It was just harder than it normally is at work. I feel bad because I really don't want to be a complainer or negative but I do complain about stuff. I'm trying really hard to not be that way because I'm trying to be more positive but also because I want to be a role model and set a good example especially now that I'm being put in a leader position. Since its November I had to change the birthday board. I made a cute turkey since thanksgiving is coming up soon.:) Like I said I took my test last Saturday. I was so nervous but I got an e-mail on Tuesday saying that I passed and then Thursday I got my certificate in the mail. I worked really hard for this. I'm very proud of myself. :) Today was just another lazy Saturday. I cleaned the apartment and just rested all day. It's getting to be that time of the year where everyone starts to get sick. I think I'm getting sick because my nose has been running non stop, my head hurts and I just feel tired. I took the week off for thanksgiving so hopefully I can make it til then. I hope you guys all have a great weekend! See you next week. Hey there my super fly readers! Welcome to November. It's rainning out but I love the rain so it's ok. I had a really fun week. It's sad to see Halloween go by but luckily we have more holidays to look forward to real soon. So lets get right to it.:) Last Saturday was my halloween party! It was a lot of fun. I made some really yummy treats, played some beer pong, hung out with some of my favorite people and everyone loved the Snap,Crackle, and Pop costumes. On Thursday we had a halloween party at work for the kids and I helped them make these really cute Frankinstein feet prints for art.:) I got candy for the trick or treaters but no one came. :( Last year we had a few kids come but this year it was like dead around here. I miss the way Halloween used to be. When I was a kid it was insane how many trick or treaters there were. Now it's like you don't even see them. Last night Robin and I went to Alstarz for their Halloween costume contest. We went as the black and white swan from last year. I really thought we were going to win. We honestly had the best costumes there. And all throughout the night people kept coming up to us saying how great our costumes were and that we should win. but unfortunately the way they did the contest was really messed up. They told everyone to come to the dance floor all at once. The DJ then picked three finalists for each one. Problem was Robin and I some how got stuck in the back so the guy couldn't even see us! It was very unfair the way they did it. And the costumes he picked weren't even that great. So the guy had really horrible taste anyway. You know Robin and I didn't just throw on a wig an a t-shirt. We actually took the time to make our costumes, and do our hair just right and our make up just right. But then again what did I really expect from someone who was dressed up as Kanye West? I'm sorry. I don't like to lose. lol. Have a great weekend everyone!!!:) |
