Hey there readers! This month is flying by. I feel like Halloween was the other day but next week is already Thanksgiving! Soon it will be Christmas and then 2016! I have been doing a lot of window shopping lately. You know just getting ideas for Christmas and I swear every single store looks like Santa Claus came in and threw up everywhere! Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas. I just wish we could focus on Thanksgiving first. Thanksgiving is such an underrated holiday. I mean sure it's not as much fun as Halloween or Christmas but it is super nice to be with family, sharing a meal and being thankful for everything you have. With all the stress in the world sometimes we forget about how fortunate we are to have the things we have. I know I take it for granted a lot especially lately because I've been so stressed and overwhelmed trying to do everything perfectly and then getting frastrated when things don't turn out right. I have to keep reminding myself that in the grand skeem of things stuff like that really doesn't matter. Anyways lets get to the favorites: Kevin and I went hunting and took some cute engagement pictures together. Which I'm not putting up yet because I want them to be a surprise. The next day we celebrated my niece Lena's 6th birthday! I can't believe she's already 6 years old! We had our engagement party this past weekend. Both our families were there and met for the first time. It was very nice and everyone got along really well.

hey there wonderful readers! Welcome to Friday favorites! It's time to take a look back in the last few weeks. Three weeks ago I went to try on more wedding dresses in my round 2 of shopping. All the dresses are beautiful but I have yet to find "the one" as they say. I made another appointment later this month to look again. Hopefully I'll be luckier next time. The next day Kevin and I took pictures at Peddlers village for our Save the Dates. I'm not posting any of them on here yet because I want them to be a surprise. We are also taking more next weekend too at a different location because we wanted to have different kinds of pictures capturing both our personalities. the following weekend Kevin and I went over to our friends house for a Halloween party. We decided not to have one this year since we are trying to save money for our wedding. I made these cookies for the party. Robin, Carly and I were The Powderpuff Girls. I was Blossom. Kevin was a hunter and Kelly came too as a kitty cat! We had a great time hanging out and sitting by the fire pit. That Thursday night Kelly and I met up with Meri for all you can eat sushi! It was delicious! The next day at work we had a Halloween party and parade so a made cute little cupcakes for all the kids in my class. The parade was nice and quick and the party was a big hit! Everyone left by 4:12 and I was able to leave early. It's always nice to leave work early on a Friday. On Halloween my mom and I went over to my sister's house to go trick or treating with my niece and nephew. We walked all around her neighborhood for about an hour. All her neighbors are so nice and they got lots of candy. That's all for now. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
