Hey there readers! I'm so excited that February is almost over because I can't wait to get into spring and warm weather. I can't wait to be able to wear flip flops and eat frozen yogurt again. The winter time just sucks! You're so limited to what you can do and me I don't like to be limited I like to have a lot of choices. All I can think about is all the fun things I can do in the spring time. Things I can't do now because its way too cold. Things like go for a walk in the park, rent a boat at a lake, ride a bike, etc. well hopefully winter will roll over a die soon and we can get to the nice days of spring. Lets start the favorites starting with Saturday aka Valentine's Day. Kevin and I had a yummy four course meal at the Olive Garden. They had a deal four courses for $12.99. There was so much food! First we sampled some red wine. I'm not a big wine person but that wine was actually pretty damn good! We cheered to many more years together. Like another fifty plus lol. Then we of course got salad and bread sticks along with minn apps. I got the ristio balls and Kevin got the chicken meatballs both very good. Then we got our main courses I got spaghetti with a special cheese sauce and Kevin got the seafood Alfredo. Last but not least we both got the chocolate moose for dessert. Sunday night I made a yummy chicken honey ketchup and garlic dish in my slow cooker and we ate it during The Walking Dead. It was good.:) Monday I had off but I had to go to a workshop in the morning afterwards I met up with my friend Robin for lunch at Applebee's. The rest of the week was pretty boring just snow and work and snow and work and snow and can I move somewhere where it never snows? Have a great weekend everyone!:)

Happy Valentine's day to all my readers! It doesn't matter if you're married, in a relationship or single valentines day is for everyone! I had such a fun week. I got to have a Valentines day party for my class. Any time I get the chance to do something special or different for the children in my room I want to do it because its so nice to do different things once in a while. Otherwise it would be so boring to do the same things every single day. That's why we have events like holidays and birthdays so we can do things to make those days extra special.:) so without further ado lets talk about this weeks favorties.:) Last Saturday night was kind of boring. It's the winter so Kevin and I don't really want to go any where because its so cold out, but I did talk him into getting Chick fil a and watching the movie Annabelle. It was ok. Not as good as The Conguring. Kevin is a Hunter so he brings meat home for me to cook up. Lately it's been deer meat. I made a yummy Hunters pie. Just like shepherds pie but with deer meat. Made from scratch. I peeled the potatoes myself and everything. It turned out very good.:) Like I said before we had a valentines day party on Thursday for my class. The children in my room are very young so I'm kind of limited to what I can do with them. I invited the parents to come in and we helped the children decorate bags, with Valentines Day stamps, dotters and crayons. Then I took picture of the parents with their child in from of a door covered with all Valentines day decorations. I also asked the parents before hand to bring in little valentines to exchange and gave them each a list of all the children in the class. They all exchanged valentines which was very nice. I printed out the pictures I took and gave them to the parents the next day. The parents really enjoyed the party.:) Last night Kevin and I did a chocolate walk right here in our town. It was completely free and a ton of fun. Basically you have these passports that you print out from their web site and you go from shop to shop. The owners of the shops sign off each heart for you then offer you free chocolate and tell you about their shop. We went to about ten shops even though we only needed eight hearts signed off. We loved the shops and every place had something different. We had samples of chocolate wine, chocolate brownies, chocolate cup cakes, chocolate martinis, chocolate candies, etc. we completed our passports and turned them in for a chance to win a $50 dollar gift card.:) I hope we win.:) That's all for now. Have a great Valentines day everyone!!:) Hey there my wonderful readers! Welcome to Febuary! I love Febuary because number 1 it's a short month, and number 2 Valentine's Day is right around the corner:) yay! Lets get to my weeks favorites!:) Last Saturday night I went out with my friends Kelly, Molly, Sarah and my boyfriend Kevin. We went out to Dave and Busters. We got a ton if appetizers to snack on. I recommend the nachos! They're delish! Then we played a ton of games. I love the shooting, and ski balling games the best. It was so much fun!:) I made a yummy din din of chicken Teresa which is another one of my favorite, few ingredent dishes. All you need is chicken, stuffing, cream of chicken soup and milk.:) That's all for now. Have a great weekend everyone!:) xoxox |
