Hello there amazing readers! Welcome to another wonderful weekend. As the weather changes and we get closer and closer to the holiday season I grow more and more excited! I love this time of the year because there is so much to look forward to in the next few months. I had a pretty good week so lets get to the favorites.:) Last Saturday Kevin and I went apple picking at shady brook farm. It was a lot of fun. We got a ton of apples that were so sweet. We even went into the corn maze. Tuesday was mine and Kevin's 2 year anniversary so I made him this really cute gift basket filled with all his favorite treats. It's hard to see in the picture so I'll tell you what's in there : 1 big jar of popcorn with a tag that says "you make my heart pop!",1 jar of gold fish with a tag that says "out of all the fish in the sea I'm glad that you're the one for me.", 1 box of Nutella brownies tag says "I love you like a fat kid loves brownies.", 1 bag of homemade sugar cookies shaped like football helmets and footballs tag says "I love my football fan.", 4 lottery tickets tag says "I won the lottery when I met you.", 2 boxes of macaroni and cheese tag says "you are the cheese to my macaroni." And of course an anniversary card. It's kind of corny but I think anniversarys and valentines day is when you do the cheesy gifts. Christmas and birthdays are when you buy the really nice bigger gifts.:) When I got home from work that night Kevin surprised me with a card and a beauiful bracelet.:) Wednesday night we went out to dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We got chicken and shrimp hibachi. Friday I went to the food store for lunch. They have a salad bar and I made this yummy healthy salad with fruit on the side. That's all for this week. Have a great weekend everyone!!!:)

Hello there my happy Fall time readers! Welcome to another fun weekend:) I'm not going to lie this week was a tough one for me, but I got through it and handled the situation very well. I'm proud of myself because I know I've come along way from being the extremely shy, scared girl that I used to be. No matter what happens you have to remember to keep your head up and realize that everyone has their own problems to deal with and sometimes they get taken out on the wrong people. When I was younger I used to think everything was all my fault and people hated me, but now I realize people are just mean sometimes. It has nothing to do with me, it has nothing to do with anyone. Don't let anyone bring you down or make you feel bad. Just smile and brush it off. I know that's easiler said than done. As you get older you learn how to deal with people and how not to let things bother you as much. My mom always says "Getting old sucks, but one really great thing about getting older is that you stop caring what other people think and you know how to handle them better." And it's so true. Anyways lets get on to the favorites: so last Saturday Kevin, Robin, Shawn, Carley and I all went to shady brook farms to go apple picking. Unfortunately by the time we all got there it was pouring rain so we didn't get to go picking. We hung out in their little market that they have eating free samples of cheeses, jams and dressings. We also looked around at the pumpkins and halloween stuff. I also saw these at micheals later in the day. It's so gross lol:) I finally did man crush Monday on my Instagram page. And if you haven't guessed by now who I put up you haven't been reading my blogs lately.:) On Tuesday I made this yummy chicken. Only four ingredients! Mayo, parm cheese, bread crumbs and chicken:) We redecorated our classroom for the Fall season. Melissa my co-worker had this great idea for a fall tree using tissue paper. I helped bring the idea to life. It turned out really good.:) you can't see from the picture but the apples say our names plus the names of all the children in our class.:) That's all for this week. Have a great weekend everyone! Hello my awesome readers! Welcome to another weekend. I'm not going to lie I didn't really take a lot of pictures this week. I was just really busy and didn't really get much opportunities for picture taking. But I promise next week to not be lazy and take more pictures. There is still things to talk about so let's get started: Saturday was crazy for me because I had to take a CPR and First Aid class in the morning, then I came home and did the food shopping with Kevin and then I had to go baby sit these two really cute little boys. I'm so used to taking care of so many children at once that only caring for one or two seems super easy. Sunday was ok. Kevin is obsessed with football which basically means every Sunday from now until Febuary football games all going to be on all day long. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Last Sunday Kevin's dad and brother came over to our apartment to watch the 49ers game. I made my famous chili with dinner rolls. The game was pretty good they won so Kevin was in a good mood. Sometimes I hate watching football because it can be so nerve-racking if they're not winning or down by a lot, but other times it can be really exciting. I think I'd still rather be shopping though.:) If you read my blog from last week you know that I'm currently crushing on Mark Wahlberg aka the hottiest man who ever lived. The other night Kevin and I watched the movie Fear for the first time ever. We were basically playing the mystery science theater 3000 game while we were watching we were making fun of it because there were some really corny parts but I still really liked the movie and that Mark Wahlberg is one piece of ace!! I mean I know he's supposed to be this insane creeper but he's like way too hot! Even when he's being creepy you still want to make out with him. I especially enjoyed the part in the movie where he let himself into her house late at night and came up to her room and you saw him with his shirt off! Oh yes!!!:) I swear I've been seeing him a lot lately. The other day I saw like the last 20 minutes of Rockstar. I hate when a movie I really want to watch is on tv but I catch it towards the end and I don't really know what's going on but want to watch it anyway. I need to watch the whole thing over again. Then 2 Guns was on the other night too but again I came in towards the end so I have to wait to watch the whole thing later. I finally saw the video for the song Good Vibrations which I looked up on YouTube. Mark Wahlberg looks really young and hot in it. Now when this song came out I was about 5 years old so I wasn't watching MTV I didn't even know who he was. If I was older at the time like a teenager I would've had all his tapes/CDs, I would've had posters of him all over my bedroom walls, the whole 9 yards. I mean I have a crush on him now but it's like a mature adult crush. I know I'm never going to meet him, I know he'll probably never know about me or who I am, but I'm still going to enjoy watching his movies and looking at his handsome face and hot man body.:) That's all for this week. Have a great weekend everyone! Go out, have fun and watch Mark Wahlberg movies! lol:) Hello there my amazing readers! Welcome to yet another Friday night/ weekend. So last weekend my boyfriend and I watched Boogie Nights for the first time and ever since I've been crushing on Mark Wahlberg. I've always been a fan of his but I never really knew that much about him. I love his personality and he's so hot it's ridiculous. The way he talks and just like some of the things he says kind of reminds me of my boyfriend so now I'm like extra attacted to my boyfriend.:) As you know Fall is here and I couldn't be happier because its really my favorite time if the year. I can't wait for Halloween and Thanksgiving and for it to get cooler out.:) On Saturday my boyfriend took me out for a birthday dinner. We went to Chilis where I got this yummy mango fish. It was so good. Sunday my friend Carley and I had a picnic lunch at the Princeton battlefield. On that ground a bunch of American and British soldiers are buried. They fought and died there during the battle in 1777. Carley told me that on Halloween night people have claimed to see a lone soldier floating around in the empty field by himself. Which is pretty cool. I completely believe. That some of their ghosts are still there. On Wednesday night I made this honey chicken that turned out very yummy. I'll put the recipe for it up on my recipe page.:) Today after work I treated myself to a pumpkin spice frap at starbucks. Getting into the Fall spirit already :) That's all for now. Have a great weekend!!! |
