Hey Readers:-) I am so excited about this blog, because I just got back from my trip from The Great Wolf Logde, and I can not wait to tell you all about it! My boyfriend and I booked a room for one night and two days in the water park. We got there a little late yesterday because we hit traffic on the way up there. It should have only taking us 1 and a half hours to get there, but it ended up taking us 2 hours. We were both really annoyed being stuck in traffic and being late, but As soon as we saw the sign for the logde, and we pulled into that parking lot and we saw how big the place was...We were so excited! (These are all pictures that I took from our trip by the way.) We get in, we check in, and get to our room. The room is really nice, and really big. The whole logde is amazing! It's beautiful, and I couldn't wait to get into the park! We get ready and head into the water park. It's big and there's lot's of things to do. We don't even know where to start. We end up floating around on tubes in this "lazy river thing". Now we had just gotten there. haven't gone on any slides yet, and I just looked at my boyfriend and I was just feeling so happy to be there with him. It was one of those moments that you wanna hold on to as long as you can. We had a great time. We went on all the slides. There were four that you had to go on either with single tubes or double tubes, One you went on kind of like a raft, Two that had bigger tubes you had to go on, and Two body slides. My favorite slide was the green and yellow striped one. We went on that one at least five times. I'm not going to lie. The trip was kind of pricey, but it was worth it, because we had a lot of fun. I would love to go back there someday:-) If you are thinking of planning a trip at The Great Wolf Logde here are some things you should know:
1. You have to pay upfront: I was really surprised when I went to book the room because I thought that they were going to just hold a card number on file like most places do, but no. You have to pay when you make the reservation. In a way it's good, because you don't have to worry about paying when you get there. 2. They have places to eat there, but the food is more expensive. Your best bet is to bring food with you. All rooms come with a mini fridge and a microwave. You can buy things at a food store like begal's and cream cheese for breakfast, any kind of sandwiches for lunch, and maybe something you can heat up in the microwave for dinner, just to save some money. 3. Check out time is kind of early. Our check out time was 11:00 am after that we weren't aloud back in the room, but we still had the rest of the day to use the park. The bad news is: You can't really sleep in, but the good news is that inside the water park they have locker rooms with showers so you can still go home clean even without use of your hotel room:-)
