Hey there girlies! Tonight I'm going to talk to you about being a girlfriend and all the do's and don'ts that come along with it. Some of these things I've always known but others I had to learn through experience. I think this is very good advice for any girl who is in a relationship. Number 1. When you are first dating a guy it is normal for him to pay for most things, however it is really nice if every once in a while you offer to pay for small things here and there. Like if you guys go to a diner for breakfast, or go out for ice cream:) Number 2. When a guy takes you out to eat. Do not order the most expensive thing on the menu, nor the cheapest. Somewhere in between is good. I always order things that are usually between $10.00-$13.00, sometimes even $9.00. Number 3. When a guy takes you out to eat DO NOT I repeat DO NOT only take Like two bites and then tell the waiter you won't be taking home the rest. That's his money you are throwing away! and honestly if I was paying and someone did that I'd be pissed. Try to eat what you ordered and if you can't finish it, at least ask to take the rest home. That way he won't feel like he wasted money on food that you didn't even eat. Number 4. Remember happy girls are the prettiest. Guys don't want to be around girls who are negative or are drama queens. Don't complain, And don't talk about anyone in a bad way. I know this is hard to do because we are all human and people get on our nerves, but If you really need to vent, vent to a girlfriend not your guy. Number 5. Don't be afraid to speak your mind and share your opinions. Even though you may really like a guy, that doesn't mean you have to agree with everything he says. Guys like when you have a mind of your own and say how you feel. Number 6. Be thoughtful. Listen to him, take an interest in what he likes. Surprise him with things that he's not expecting. Like say he's really into a certain band and you found out they were playing at a place near by so you got tickets for you and him to go:) Number 7. Do little things to please him: my boyfriend loves when I wear my hair in pigtails, paint my nails red, and wear certain clothes. So I do these things every now and then just for him:) sometimes little things go a long way. Number 8. Make a good first impression with his family. I know it can be nerve-racking meeting his family for the first time, but just remember to be polite, look them in the eye, and give them a nice firm hand shake. Don't be afraid to talk to them and ask them questions. All you have to do is find something you have in common with them to help make the conversation flow. Number 9. Be fair: being in a relationship means comprising. It can't always be your way. You have to give in sometimes even if its hard. Number 10. Fight nice: it's bound to happen you guys are going to fight. When it does watch what you say. Don't call him mean names or corse, don't hit him. If you ever do get really angry with him take a minute to walk away and calm down before you freak out on him. Sometimes even adults need a time-out. I hope these tips help you out. Good luck in your relationships:) and to my walking dead fans enjoy tonight's episode:)
